Once surviving the freezing cold with very little protection, this sweet Newfie/Lab mix girl is finally getting her chance at a warm bed, full belly, and a family who will never let her down again. Despite her rough start, she is incredibly gentle, affectionate, and eager to trust the humans around her.
She has a soft, soulful personality and loves staying close to her people — the kind of dog who will happily follow you from room to room just to be part of your day. She’s learning that toys, cozy blankets, and kindness are part of everyday life now, and watching her confidence grow has been nothing short of magical.
• Adoption Area: We only adopt to families living in Illinois, Wisconsin, or states that directly border either IL or WI.
• Renters: If you rent, please have your landlord contact us directly at mallorytsherwood@gmail.com to confirm that dogs are allowed in your home.
• Adoption Fee: $800, which includes microchip, current vaccines and boosters, deworming, and spay/neuter at our rescue vet.
• Using Your Own Vet: If you prefer to complete the spay/neuter with your own vet, we’ll reimburse $100 once proof of procedure is provided. This must be done before 6 months of age, and adopters will sign a contract agreeing to this.
