Why Do Rescues
Have Adoption Fees?

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help The Charlie Project Dog Rescue cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the pets.

Adoption Fees:

  • $350-$800 depending on breed and age

Fees for Dogs with special needs will be determined based upon circumstances and may result in a fee reduction.

Adoption Inclusions:

Along with daily care costs, the adoption fees help The Charlie Project Dog Rescue cover vaccination and medical prep costs for the dogs. At adoption, The Charlie Project Dog Rescue dogs will be current on their vaccines and will have the following:

  • Rabies (1 yr. or 3 yr.)
  • Distemper (DHLPP or DHLPP-C)
  • Bordetella
  • Negative Heartworm, Lyme's, Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichiosis Test
  • Lyme Vaccine (if relevant)
  • Altered - Females Spayed or Males Neutered
  • Micro-chipped
