I'm still in shock that my mommy has cancer and can't take care of me anymore! But the nice ladies at the Charlie Project Dog Rescue agreed to find me my furever home... for real this time!
I'm living with my foster mommy, daddy, and wheaton terrier brother in the big city of Chicago, IL ! I come with my DHPP vaccines, bordetella microchip, current health certificate, heartworm prevention, and I will be spayed on March 20th.
I feel bonded and most comfortable with my foster mom. She loves to hold me and baby me which is such a nice change of pace. I’ve had so many babies and I’m ready for someone to take care of me and spoil me for a change. I just want to snuggie with my foster mom all day long. When she leaves to go to work, I have to stay with my foster dad, and I am unsure of him and the random sounds I hear from outside. Sometimes when my foster dad approaches me, I flinch and bark because I remember some scary stuff that happened to me in the past. However, he is slowly growing on me. I can tell he’s nice and when we’re all laying in bed, I like to crawl up to him and check out his vibe. My foster brother is a dork and I’m obviously way smarter than him. He bumps into things and just looks lost all the time, and I think it’s funny. We get along great but we also kind of stay out of each other’s way aside from the occasional booty sniff to remind us of who we are. I think my perfect owner would be a female who is home most of the time and wants me in her lap or by her side. I don’t mind if there are other pets in the home but I will get a little jealous if you show them more love than me.
